Who did you interview: Teo Crisanto What day and time: Monday 4/23/12 Content: You will be asking an assigned junior some questions and giving them feedback regarding their senior project ideas. It is your job to document the experience on the blog. (1) What ideas do you have for your senior project and why? their answer For my senior project I'm thinking about doing something that deals with science, either biology or chemistry. What feedback did you offer when you heard the topic ideas? I told him that if he wanted to do a science related project, for independent learning they would have to take a class to get their hours. I also told him that it might be hard to get hour for service learning. (2) What do you plan to do to complete the 10 hours of service learning (working with an expert) which is due prior to senior year starting? Note: They also have to complete the 50 hours during the school year. their answer To complete my 10 hours of service learning, I plan to take a class in the summer at mnt sac. What feedback did you offer them in response? Classed are great places to start, especially when you are dealing with science related topics you'll have a clear understanding of what your topic, whether its chemistry or biology is about. (3) What do you hope to see or expect to see when watching the class of 2012 present their two hour presentations? their answer I hope to see well rehearsed and professional presentations. I also hope to see what they have learned at I poly through out the years and how they have applied it to their project. What suggestions did give them regarding how they should approach watching the 2 hour presentations? I told him that since he wants to do a science senior project, he should switch into any of the science presentations if he can. (4) What questions do they have about senior project? What additional recommendations would you give the 2013 student about senior project? Be specific and note what you told them. questions they had "What is science fair?" What additional recommendations did you give them? I told him that he should pick a topic that he is really passionate about and one that he knows where he could go and complete all his hours.
